Do they have empanadas??
Best Salvadoran fun in San Diego!!
Food is great a little bit pricey but drinks on the other hand not a bad deal
Excellent place! Fantastic service! We were nearby at an art show. This place had great reviews so we tried it out. It did not disappoint. I loved the different options. Everyone could find something to eat here. Portions are large and filling. Vegetarian options were great. I had a veggie sandwhich. It was delicious. I loved the soft bread. We will definitely go back when in the area!
MoreMy hubby and I went here for the first time and we were very pleased with the service and the food! The papusa’s are so yummy! They have a portobello mushroom appetizer which is really good! You must try this place! We will definitely be coming back here! 👍🏼
MoreBig menu, fine atmosphere at a fair price.
Food is always good and fresh..!! Portions are also pretty big so I only eat about three at a time they are really good for the pupusas many varieties Soo do try them out
MoreBig portions, I like their pupusas and their sweet tamale. This is the first I've tried Salvadorian cuisine.
MoreTo go orders are disorganized (they missed my order) and staff was very rude.
My wife is from El Salvador and she said that this is the most authentic Salvadorian restaurant that we have been to. The service was excellent the food extraordinary, they even have imported beer and sodas from El Salvador. As you enter it's like you're transported to a little restaurant off of one of the main streets in Salvador. The decor is very warm and homie. We ordered pupusas, chicken soup that comes with a bowl of rice, salad, and a whole fried chicken leg. We first add yuca and chicharron as an appetizer. In doing a mural I indulged in a 32 oz bottle of Regia beer.
MoreFood was awesome. They went out of their way to accommodate our large group of 20 people! And they got the orders right. Food was delish! Authentic salvadorian fare
MoreMuy delicious foods thanks for your service blessings
We came to this restaurant especially for the Pupusas and we were not disappointed, ordered the queso chicharrón, and hongo(mushroom)Very delicious, definitely going back soon.. and taking more family!!
MoreReally good food. We ordered the sampler plate and was so happy we did. Nice people and clean establishment.
MoreAuthentic Salvadorian cuisine like pupusas vegan dishes and an assortment of other types of food such as Pizza tamales which are also Salvadorian they even have a bar.
MoreI’ve been here several times and have loved everything I try. And...Best hot sauce EVERRRFried pork and yucca and cheese jalapeño pupusas and the mushroom one too. My favorites.
MoreComfortable spot good for a leisurely pre-concert meal. The food was yummy and the server was very friendly. I'll come back on the weekend when they have some of their special items.
MorePizza was okay. We shared a flavorful Central American beer
Very authentic, great service
My fav location for tasty Salvadoran food. entered near eleven, it wasn't packed. service is typically great. the place has a great feel to it. atmosphere and food reminds me of virginia beach.
MoreThis place simply knows how to serve their customers. Always with a very kind mindset. The food is affordably priced, regularly yummy and neat.
MoreI took a group of 7 after visiting the wild animal park. The food was very good. Everyone in the group enjoyed their meal. The service couldn't of been better. The young lady was very attentive and kept our drinks full.
MoreGreat salvadoreña place. Got some pupusas and had a special request, staff is nice.
MorePupusas pupusas pupusas!!! And fried plantains. Yum!
My son, who refused to eat anything, finished kids ravioli in seconds and wanted more. I took more time, but thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. Very good prices!
MoreThe place serves large dishes and for fair pricing. very nice employees. I recommend this place.
MoreFantastic Tamales, Papusas, Plantains, and Garlic bread!
Unexpected find. Family friendly, reasonably priced. Papusas, yucca root, plantains. Spicy sauce. Very good.
MoreWe love eating out. Yesterday we visited this magnificent place which we didn’t know before. We enjoyed a beautiful evening there with very good dishes and a well-trained team and a great chief cook. We put this venue in our phone list and we shall definitely visit again very soon. We highly recommend.
MoreThe owned of the establishment welcomed us. He asked us where we would like tosit. he tehn gave us a menu and asked if we had ever eaten Salvadoran cusine. He went down the various offerings. Asked about water for us. When we ordered he explained what ccondiments went with what. The food was amazing - we got the appetizer platter and it was more than enough for two people. The tastes an d textures of the food - incrfedible.
MoreLove the papusas here. The ensalada is tasty. Staff is friendly too. I've heard mixed reviews, but I like it.
MoreFirst of all the place is nice, servers are really nice, I dare to say that this is a good example of salvadorian hospitality and cuisine. Pupusas of course are the main thing here by the way are great no matter what you are craving for, got Yuca with pork which is great. If you are with kids that want more american food great try burgers and pizza.
MoreWe had dinner, the best mojarra frita and great costumer service by Zury .. Definitely coming back soon. 😋
More$14 pitcher of Ballast point ipa, that's a great deal.
Chose this place to eat on a whim and was not disappointed! We only ordered off of the Salvadorian menu and everything that we got was very good. Special mention is the appetizer sampler and the individual pupusos. The sampler had a lot of food with a good mix of items. Plenty for four of us. The pupusos are delicious and cheap. Tempting to just order a bunch and have them as the meal!
MoreFood was tasty and server was friendly and knowledgeable. We had the pupusas and fried tamales. Will go back asap!
MoreSo good but chicken in sandwich did not not taste like chicken in my opinion
Great food, unassuming atmosphere.
One of my fav locations for tasty salvadoran food. Nothing to complain about. Really nothing but great experiences here, so I will be back. This place has an awesome feel to it. Not close to my job, I wish it was.
MoreExcellent food very delicious. They also have Italian food, the service was great. Over all a great restaurant
MoreMUST TRY PUPUSAS. Love the flavor, quality, and prices of food. Good place for get togethers as well.
MoreDelicious food, don't miss out on the pupusas, very good and filling!
I've eaten here several times and the food has been excellent every time. The staff is always welcoming and attentive. Love this restaurant! Note: I've never tried the pizza only the traditional Salvadorian food.
MoreGreat little spot to get delicious Pupusas. Tried the Pan con pollo as well and it was fantastic. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and the bread roll tasted freshly made. I took away 1 star, because 2 out of my 3 Pupusas were a bit undercooked for my liking.
MoreYes yes and yes! The pupusas are so legit here the only bad part is that their alcohol is really not strong at all you minus well order a lemonade. The service is OK but the food is amazing!
MoreOne of the fun places on Grand we keep going back to. We have tried about half of the menu so far, and everything has been tasty. It's also fun to learn a bit more about Salvadorian culture by trying their foods. The service is fantastic and the dining room inside is quiet enough to have a conversation without shouting, always a plus for us. A great place to take friends or out of town visitors, as well.
MoreThis place was a pleasant surprise. It looked good on the webpage and the reviews were good. I expected good. This place is great! The server was a sweetheart. She was extremely helpful and attentive. I'm definitely coming back! Thank you!
MoreFood and price can't be beat. Just wish they'd ditch their silly rule about split bills.
MoreIf you’ve never had a papusa, now is a good time to try one at this cozy Salvadoran restaurant. These savory lovelies are hand made with masa and stuffed with a variety of fillings. I tried the chicken with cheese and the black beans and cheese. Heap on the traditional cabbage garnish and salsa for a delicious meal. I can also highly recommend the stuffed roasted mushroom appetizer. I am looking forward to a return trip to try other traditional Salvadoran dishes in the menu.
MoreFood is really good
I've never had Salvadoran food before, so I didn't know what to expect. I thought the pan pizza Salvadoran style we had for the appetizer was great. The Bistec Encebollado I had for the main entree was good, but not great. I will probably visit again and try another main dish.
